The Aethra Vega X7 is a truly high definition (720p) video conference system. Fully ITU-T H.323, SIP and H.320 compliance, and compatible with any other Aethra video conference systems and from other manufacturers.
The Aethra Vega X7 consists of a HD pan-tilt-zoom camera, a HD codec, a desktop wideband boundary microphone and a handheld remote control unit. The Aethra Vega X7 HD system has 3 HD inputs, 2 HD outputs, 4 non HD video inputs, 4 non HD video outputs and a PCMCIA slot for wireless LAN connection.

The multipoint version of the Aethra Vega X7 is able to support multi site videoconference up to 9 sites (1 local & 8 remote) in total; with any combination of ISDN and IP based endpoints. The MCU supports rate matching and transcoding to make possible best connection with all sites.
During the multipoint session there are 10 types of continuous presence video layouts.
During a videoconference session, user can carry out document presentation from a notebook PC connected directly to the XGA input of the Aethra Vega X7. By using the H.239 dual video sending and receiving feature, the Aethra Vgea X7 is able to transmit both video of participants and presentation slides from PC concurrently; allowing users at the far end to view “presenter & presentation” simultaneously.
Aethra Vega X7 supports AES encryption up to 256-bit. Therefore, you can be sure of a secure video conference connection.
During a video conference meeting, the Aethra Vega X7 can function as a video streaming server to broadcast the progress of the meeting to other users using IP network, to allow users to follow the video conference meeting remotely.

The Aethra Hydra videoconference system allows PC users with webcam and Internet Explorer to join a multiparty video conference meeting hosted by the Aethra Vega X5 video conference system with 9-party embedded MCU.
The Aethra Hydra consists of a server with application software, usually installed together with the Aethra Vega X5 video conference system with 9-party embedded MCU.
It is a cost effective multipoint videoconference solution for organizations who want to leverage the existing PCs at the branch offices for this purpose without investing licensed H.323 videoconference software for these PCs or expensive H.323 hardware endpoints.
These PC users at the branch offices just use webcam and Internet Explorer to join the multipoint videoconference meeting hosted by the Aethra Vega X5 video conference system with 9-party embedded MCU at headquarters.
As the user interface is Internet Explorer web browser, there are no complicated firewall port opening and router port forward configuration issues at the locations where these PC users are. Therefore, making the Aethra Hydra a very clever and user friendly video conference solution for organizations with many users on the move and need to conduct videoconference meetings from anywhere e.g. hotels, hotspots, customer’s office etc. where requests for these network adjustment are impossible.
Up to 6 PC endpoints with webcam can join a multiparty video conference meeting hosted by the Aethra Vega X5 video conference system with 9-party embedded MCU. In addition to the 6 PC users, the Aethra Vega X5 can invite another 2 more H.323 systems to join the meeting.

The Aethra Desktop Server videoconference solution allow PC users with webcam and Internet Explorer to join a multiparty video conference meeting hosted by the standalone Aethra MCU together with other PC users and H.323 boardroom video conference systems from Aethra or other manufacturers.
Up to 24 or 48 PC endpoints with webcam and/or H.323 systems can be supported, in any combination without limitation.
For the PC users, just use Internet Explorer. No expensive licensed H.323 video conference client software is required.
All participants of the multipoint video conference meeting (i.e. PC users and H.323 systems) will enjoy the same Continuous Presence video layout, H.239 dual video (i.e. simultaneous display of video and slides presentation) and conference moderation. Therefore, same user experience for all video conference participants.
It is like surfing the web. Start Internet Explorer, type the IP address or URL of the Aethra Desktop Server, enter the meeting ID and a PIN (if necessary) at the Desktop Server portal page and join the meeting.
The first time when you access the Aethra Desktop Server, the server will automatically push a client software to the PC users. The client software is free of charge and can be installed in as many PCs as possible.
As the user interface of the Aethra Desktop Server is web browser, there are no complex firewall and NAT configuration issues. Only port 80 and 443 are needed.
The Aethra Desktop Server is ideal for organizations with:

The Aethra MCU12+ and MCU24+ are standalone non PC based multipoint conference unit or videoconference bridge that connect a few point-to-point videoconference systems together to form a multipoint video conference session.
Multiple multipoint video conference sessions concurrently are possible.
The Aethra MCU12+ and MCU24+ are in the form of compact 1U 19” rack mount chassis.
It is able to connect H.323 IP videoconference endpoints together. H.320 ISDN videoconference endpoints, 3G mobile phones and PSTN telephones (as audio only endpoints) can be included in the same session via the Aethra ISDN gateway and Aethra 3G gateway.
The total number of endpoints that can be connected together depends on the capacity of the MCU.

The Aethra AMS400 is a highly scalable Multipoint Control Unit for large enterprises and service providers.
The Aethra AMS400 is flexible, reliable and highly scalable. It is able to connect high definition and standard definition H.323 and H.320 room systems, executive desktop systems, desktop PCs and audio conference systems together.
Available in a 2U 19” rack mount chassis with dual redundant power supplies and 4 universal slots, the Aethra AMS400 supports a variety of hot-swappable system components/blades which makes it highly configurable and modular.
The Aethra AMS400 is able to support up to 96 video conference endpoints, in one single multipoint conferencing session or multiple sessions concurrently.
To participate in a meeting, the Aethra AMS400 could invite the users into a meeting room and/or have these users dial into the meeting room directly. The AMS400 has a built-in interactive voice response (IVR) to guide the dial-in users into the desired meeting rooms. The IVR messages can be recorded to provide custom greetings and announcements.
All conferences can be PIN protected.
The Aethra AMS400 supports consistent video quality and frame rate regardless of the number of participants connected to the meeting rooms.
While in a multipoint meeting hosted by the Aethra AMS400, users are able to have 28 different continuous presence video layout options with up to 16 conference participants displayed on one screen.
Conference participant's name can also be displayed on the same screen using text overlay feature.

The Aethra PF is a video conference firewall traversal solution for video conference deployment in an IP environment with complicated firewall and NAT issues.
The typical solution is to open the required ports at firewall and map a public IP address to the internal IP address where the videoconference system is connected. If these challenges cannot be resolved by opening of firewall ports and security cannot be compromised, the Aethra PF will be the solution.
Aethra PF offers complete tunneling solution for audio-video firewall traversal through user configurable firewall port without compromising network security. It is easy to deploy, no changes at firewall and device upgrade are required.
Available in a 1U secured and hardened Linux platform, the Aethra PF works with any firewall, endpoint and gatekeeper.
